Legacy Gymnastics is Birmingham's newest gymnastics facility.  Our coaching staff combines two generations of gymnastics professionals that have trained Birmingham-area gymnasts for 30 years!Our head coach, Dr. Joel Inman, Ph.D., started coaching gymnastics at the Shades Valley YMCA in the 1970s.  He opened his own facility, the Joel Inman Gymnastics Academy (J.I.G.A.), in 1984.  He has joined three of his former students, Brianna Salter (Legacy owner and assistant head coach), Bethany Bell (assistant head coach), and C.J. Laird (boys and girls coach) to deliver a combination of seasoned coaching experience and youthful enthusiasm that is unique in the Birmingham area.

Legacy Gymnastics offers recreational and competitive team programs for boys and girls from birth to 18 years old.  More information on our classes (including time and costs) can be found on our Class Schedule page
